  • Multiple area light sources
  • Light falloff via inverse square law
  • Soft shadows
  • Better sampling point selection
  • Lambert shading
  • Start of the Cornell box

Things to work on next:

  • Coloured surfaces
  • Radiosity
  • Glossy reflections
